Afghan Constitution Commission

[edit]

The article was getting a bit lengthy and overdone. Also, it was turning into a long chronology. I spent a good hour removing redundancies, fixing tenses, re-organizing and clarifying. I removed news items that were pasted into the article. I also removed the text of the proposed constitution and placed it in its own article: Proposed Afghan Constitution.

This article still needs to be streamlined. I welcome anyone to help. I'll give it another shot after a few days rest.

My compliments go out to you for all the hard work you put into this article. Kingturtle 07:21, 28 Nov 2003 (UTC)

Re-dipping (If Not "Stubbing") My Toes

[edit]

I appreciate Kingturtle's comments. I was very much a newbie when I jumped into the Wiki fray. It was a new experience and I made some boo-boos, such as perhaps rather too aggressively changing existing text and being resentful when people changed mine!

However, I am very much glad that the Afghan Constitution Commission article continues to be updated.

As for me, I will see what I can contribute after several months' absence.

Perhaps I'll look for the list of requested articles and create a few stubs.

I also love the new interface.

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello CBorges! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 35 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Renaud Muselier - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Speedy deletion nomination of Nagui

[edit]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Nagui requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you can assert the importance of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. Solar Snoopy (talk) 17:31, 3 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
